Frequently Asked Questions

“I’m jealous of my dog’s vacation! She had a blast hiking in the woods and playing with friends. The best part was knowing that she was in such good, caring and knowledgeable hands. We’ll be back again soon!”
-Melissa Campeau

What does a Wylder boarding experience look like?

We strive to create a home away from home for all our guests. Guests have their own private suite within the kennels. The suites are spacious and include a raised cot bed, bowls and a doggie door leading to a private outdoor run. The run opens up to a communal play yard. The kennels are clean, temperature controlled and very comfortable.

Morning starts out in a group setting in the play yards. All pups will then go into their suite for one hour for breakfast. Off leash group trail walks begin after breakfast. If your dog eats lunch they will be in their suite for an hour around noon. The bulk of the day is spent in organized groups playing in the yards. We cater to each guest’s needs throughout the day. All dogs will be given the option to join the activities or relax in their suite. Overnight guests will be in for dinner for two hours. The evening is spent in groups in play yards. Lights out at 9pm.

What does a Wylder daycare experience look like?

Daycare is in a social group setting. Dogs are groups according to energy level, size and temperament. Daycare pups enjoy an off leash group trail walk, visit to the pond and group play in the yards. We cater to each guest’s needs throughout the day. All dogs will be given the option to join the activities or relax in a suite.

How old does my pup have to be to enjoy a Wylder experience?

We recommend all dogs be at least 4 months old to attend daycare and 6 months or able to sleep through the night to be boarded.

Can I tour the facility?

We love showing people around! We offer group tours the first Sunday of each month. You can sign up for a tour online by using the book now button or feel free to call us to book your tour. We may be able to accommodate tours at other times but an appointment must be confirmed. We are a family run business, we have children and dogs of our own. Time needs to be set aside in our day to ensure our guest’s needs are taken care of before we can offer the grand tour. Please respect our time and our guest’s experience by prearranging your tour.
